03:09 am - WARNING: Character death.
Verdot had moved out, when Vincent brought Genesis home. Genesis could take his bed, and it would be the first step toward getting Vincent to live on his own. Once Genesis was well again, Vincent could get his own place, and hopefully stop his nomadic tendencies.
When Vincent awoke that morning, he made ready for the day quietly, not wanting to disturb the sleeping Genesis. He went to visit Shelke, returning a few hours later. Still, Genesis had not moved from his bed. Worried now, Vincent crossed the room to check on him.

It was not so unusual for Vincent to be comforting someone who'd been through a trauma. He'd taken care of Tseng and Elena after what the Remnants did to them, he'd helped a few people after the Battle Royale incident, he'd spoken with Reeve after Deep Ground had attacked, and helped to nurse Anael back to health somewhat, before... well. That wasn't the point. He'd done this often. Often enough to be aware of how it worked.
Cloud, on the other hand, while being the best nurturer in all of AVALANCHE, always seemed to approach moments like these with a tentative sort of tension. Especially when a Sephiroth was involved. Sephiroth... had been his idol, then took his everything, so quickly. Of course, he'd later discovered it hadn't been Seph's fault and it had taken what seemed like forever to forgive the man he'd known was innocent. Only recently had he begun to see that Sephiroth had a heart and a history-- that he could be a good person. It made moments like these-- little heart-to-hearts and quiet moments, without the others-- seem very fragile and awkward. He was here to help, which he hoped he could accomplish without too many screw-ups.
With Vincent waiting behind him-- bowing to his authority, as usual-- Cloud knocked quietly on the door and was let in. The two made their way into Angeal's bedroom, where the little Sephiroth and the little Cloud were lying in Angeal's bed. Angeal had temporarily begun sharing the older Sephiroth's bed-space, again.

01:40 am - Hey, look; he's back! Entry is in 3rd person, because I felt like it.
He sat in Angeal's apartment, unmoving, curled up staring at the corner, for nearly two hours. Then he quietly walked to the door, locking it behind him, and swirled his way back to his home, keeping to the shadows, trying not to be seen.
He didn't know where Verdot was, tonight, and he didn't care. The rescue mission had been far too much to deal with. He sat, curled up slightly, next to his bed on the floor.

((Sorry I've been away so long; internet access has been drastically cut down. But this LJ is still alive, and it will now be home to another round of Vince and Vince-- one of my favorite Nexus pass-times. ^^))
Vincent wandered through the Nexus, mind once again-- well, mostly intact-- and the not-so-proud new owner of a tiny blue kitten named Shiva. Currently, Shiva was finding his collar to be a fun new chew-toy, so Vince felt the need to enter a shadowed alcove before removing said kitten and re-affixing the belts.

((I will not be able to post here, for a while, because my computer's hard drive broke down. In the meantime, I'm using a computer in my campus' computer lab, but I've lost my RP folder, which was on my old computer's hard drive. So there are about 10 links missing. I'm saving up links, now, as read selections in my message folder, which is getting pretty large. I'll try to get a new hard drive, sometime soon, but finals have begun, so it might be several days. ((While I said there would soon be another post, I'm playing 2 long-term RPs on the Nexus and there have been 3 major LOLs, under which Vincent has done stuff. Most of this is still being played out, and I don't know when any given section of Vincent's story will end. Just posting this in case anyone was actually waiting for more plot; it will happen, eventually, but there are a few scenes missing and a few scenes half-done in almost every section of the story. Sorry.
It's likely to be a little longer until I post about the first LOL, the one I mentioned in the last post. Hopefully, by then, the other two LOL plots will be mostly finished, too. Not that the plots won't continue annoying and/or helping Vincent. Just that the LOLs they happened because of will probably have worn off.))
